Learn the techniques of stone masonry. Students will be instructed in the
fundamentals of building stone retaining walls, foundations, veneer on
|
|
walls, and walkways while using hands-on methods and participating in a variety of
projects. Learn how to move rocks safely, choose and shape stone, select and
use the proper tools, and develop skills that will enable you to undertake
your own stone building projects. Some advanced skills (arches, buttresses)
will be demonstrated.
